PLEASE HELP! We need YOUR help!
Dear STARBASE Vermont Fan Club,
Words cannot express the heartbreak we feel as we announce that STARBASE sites across the United States are closing and the two sites in Vermont will close as well unless action is taken! At this critical moment we need your help. In order to operate the 90 DoD STARBASE sites, it will cost more than the Senate Appropriations Committee has allocated. Many sites are shutting down and all sites will be closing within a few months if the Senate does not increase the funding amount they’ve allotted for the program.
We encourage you to voice your support for our program by reaching out to Vermont’s two U.S. Senators immediately, asking them to contact the Senate Appropriations Committee to increase the funding for the DoD Starbase Program.
We ask that you make these phone calls as soon as possible. Your voices matter, and your efforts can make a significant impact in preserving the future of STARBASE Vermont.
Senator Bernie Sanders (I) 332 Dirksen Building, Washington, DC 20510,
(202) 224-5141
Senator Peter Welch (D) 124 Russell Senate Office Building Washington, DC 20510
(202) 224-4242
Every voice matters and we appreciate your support.
Sincerely,
STARBASE Vermont, Inc.
