The Vermont Air National Guard is hosting a special event August 11th and 12th. “The Rise Above Traveling Exhibit” hosted by the Red Tail Squadron will be visiting Vermont. The educational event focuses the Tuskegee Airmen, a courageous group of African American pilots. Students of all ages are welcome to attend. The exhibit includes a panoramic movie about the Tuskegee Airmen. This movie highlights the courage and determination of this squadron. Students can view an actual P-52C Mustang, the aircraft flown by the Tuskegee Airmen. A member of the Tuskegee Airmen will be available to answer questions about this historical group of pilots. All are welcome to attend this event!
